Our Mission

Our mission is multifaceted. First and foremost, we want to create awareness of and jobs for the thousands of wonderful Thoroughbreds who retire from racing each year and who’s destiny may otherwise meet an uncertain fate.


Our aim is to restore the reputation of this unique breed across America as Sport Horses by showcasing the “elite” of the breed to new & existing generations of equestrians.


We achieve this by seeking out, acquiring, rehabbing and retraining the best of the breed. These are typically Off The Track Thoroughbreds (OTTBs) that possess the qualities required for success at the higher levels of Show Jumping, Eventing, Equitation and Hunters.


We intend to create Wellspring satellite facilities throughout the US which will greatly facilitate interest in the OTTB for the sport horse disciplines.

 

Our Educational and Internship Programs will train riders who will become a new generation of Thoroughbred owners, competitors and trainers.


In addition to fostering existing Thoroughbred competitions, we are looking to create new affordable opportunities for riders and their OTTBs to participate in Thoroughbred-only competitions across America. This could provide jobs in mass for Thoroughbreds as well as an affordable path to equestrian sports for the vast majority of Americans who cannot afford a Warmblood horse.
